2018 Tiguan Adds Creature Comforts

Volkswagen designers built the 2018 Tiguan to be powerful, safe and technologically advanced, and they didn’t forget about creature comforts, either.

For starters, the 2018 Tiguan offers 58 percent more cargo space than the 2017 version.

Most 2018 Tiguans have three seating rows as standard, and the second-row bench seat can recline, slide forward and back, and is split 40/20/40 for a variety of seating and cargo storage configurations. The third-row seat is also split 50/50.

That all translates to a versatile vehicle that can haul large items such as skis, camping gear and sports equipment without squishing people up against each other, making it the perfect vehicle for families who like to live life on the go.

Contemporary, high-quality designs pair with a sporty, driver-focused layout inside the Tiguan. Gloss-grey and chrome details accent a multi-function steering wheel and cloth seats.

Tiguan SE and SEL models include heated leatherette seating surfaces along with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, while the SEL Premium brings leather seating surfaces for the first and second rows.

SE, SEL and SEL Premium models come equipped with a glass-covered eight inch touchscreen display. The new display is brighter than previous generation of MIB II and also offers better color reproduction, response time and improved viewing angles.
