Two Volkswagen vehicles were acknowledged as offering the "2023 Best Value New Cars" after a series of appraisals by Cars.com.
The 2023 Taos S and Tiguan S models with IQ.DRIVE packages were announced in the site's Affordability Report.

ll versions of the Taos are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged and direct-injection engine that generates 158 hp and 184 Ib-ft of torque.
The 2023 Volkswagen Taos features a bold exterior design, refined interior and advanced technology package that includes a digital cockpit offering in-car Wi-Fi compatibility and a plethora of vehicle services.
Base Tiguan models are equipped with the 8-inch Volkswagen Digital Cockpit instrument cluster, while the 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro is available on top trims.
Standard features include LED headlights and taillights, keyless entry with push-button start, heated front seats and multiple driving mode selections.
Cars.com's list identifies low-cost car models in four categories—compact SUVs, EVs, PHEVs and small pickup trucks.
Over 70 in-market vehicles are evaluated annually by model, trim, features and first-year fuel costs and compared against the median price for each category.
