Atlas Gets Restyled For 2021

Boasting a fresh look for 2021, the Volkswagen Atlas represents what SUV for drivers demand from their vehicles: style, comfort, capability and dependability.

Under the Hood

Two engine options are available with the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas. The base model comes with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine producing 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. There’s also a burlier 3.6-liter, V-6 engine churning out 276 horsepower and 266-pound feet of torque. This engine is capable of towing 5,000 pounds, when properly equipped.

Both engines are mated with an eight-speed Triptronic automatic transmission that allows the driver to manually shift gears.

Comfort & Convenience

Volkswagen’s Car-Net mobile app gives drivers command of their 2021 Atlas from their smartphone or tablet. This feature allows you to remote-start the engine, lock and unlock doors, honk the horn and flash the lights.

The optional Car-Net Hotspot turns your 2021 Volkswagen Atlas into a mobile hotspot for up to four Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

Safety

The 2021 Volkswagen Atlas comes with a host of safety and driver-assistance technologies. Including: Adaptive Cruise Control, Light Assist, Lane Assist and Blind-Spot Monitoring. The available overhead view camera provides drivers with a better view of their surroundings while parallel parking or maneuvering through tight spaces.
