Sleek Design Fashions Driver-Centric Interior For ‘18 Passat

Sharp contours and a sculpture line that frames a driver-centric dashboard define the interior of the 2018 Volkswagen Passat.

The instrument cluster hosts a pair of dial faces with a display screen set between them. Chrome trim pieces like bezels around the air vents, upper door trim and the shift lever lend a luxurious feel to the interior.

Cloth trim comes standard on the base S model, while the R-Line, GT and SE packages come with Volkswagen’s perforated V-Tex leatherette seating surfaces. SEL Premium models boast Vienna leather seating surfaces and a new Golden Oak interior color scheme of black and brown.

The MIB II Infotainment system comes standard across the Passat line. This system lays the foundation for the next generation of Volkswagen’s Car-Net connected vehicle services platform. The infotainment system includes aux-in and USB multimedia interfaces, along with a rearview camera and standard Bluetooth technology.
